The Matter of Life will change the way we think and feel about abortion by changing what we know about abortion. The film will address common concerns and arguments surrounding the issue.
Driving the narrative will be powerful true stories – including adoption, pregnancy from rape, miscarriage, and special needs children– balanced with the perspective of history, law, and philosophy. The science of embryology will show us beautifully that life begins at conception. We will learn about the various abortion methods in use today. The Pro-Life Feminist perspective will show us how this issue concerns women just as much as it does unborn children –that women deserve better than abortion.
The film will profile certain life-affirming organizations that are doing amazing work, compassionately helping women in unplanned pregnancies. While this is a pro-life film, it won’t condemn people who are pro-abortion, the goal is to resonate with them while inspiring pro-life audiences to go beyond merely taking a stance. The film will offer practical ways to help people in unplanned pregnancies and to spread the truth about abortion.
